Tessellations with
Paper and Scissors

The same sort of thing can be done by beginning with a hexagonal piece of paper. Cut three sides and tape to opposite side. It is also possible to rotate the cut off piece to create a rotational tessellation. Consult the 17 wallpaper patterns and create other lattice shapes to tessellate.
