Portfolio Generator

Howe-Two Software is pleased to present this Portfolio Generating tool that can be used to create a customized portfolio for artists to post on their internet site. Artists will then be able to easily share their art work on the Internet.

 

To use this free resource, you will need access to publish files to the internet. It is recommended that you keep a copy of all your HTML files on your computer. This portfolio assumes that every image file is stored in the same folder as the portfolio page itself.

NOTE: To save your portfolio details to be compiled later, right-click here and select save target as to download a copy of the Portfolio Generator. Complete as many lines as needed and then press the compile button in the file to access this site. No special characters, line breaks, or other formatting can be used in the spreadsheet. Macro must be enabled.

Step

Process

1.

Input the Artist's name here:

Input the image file name or URL for the artist's picture:  

 

NOTE: All pictures must be stored in the same directory as the portfolio. Images will not appear during the initial portfolio preview. To view the images in the portfolio, create the portfolio page using the steps below and place the page in the same folder as the images.

Input the "About the Artist" Information:

Input the portfolio details one work at a time (press Add Entry to add each work):

Title:

Date:

Size:

Media:

File Name:

Description:

Press  

 

NOTE: This will open your custom portfolio in a new window.

Access the "View" menu on your custom portfolio window and select the "Source" option 

 

NOTE: A third window displaying the HTML for your calendar will appear. 

7.

Access the "File" menu on the HTML code window and select the "Save As" option 

 

NOTE: A "Save As" pop-up window will appear. 

8.

Browse to the folder that contains the images for the portfolio  

9.

Input a file name for your custom portfolio (EXAMPLE: index.html) 

10.

Press the "Save" button
